Common problems addressed with the PTC Simplifying Posterior Dental Anatomy™ System
How much salary have you wasted on new dental technicians that should not have been hired in the first place or should have been let go earlier due to lack of skills?
Screen new hires by using SPA to assess mechanical skills unique to the dental laboratory environment.
With the Simplifying Posterior Dental Anatomy System you can establish what a new technician or new hire's skills really are, and how he will fit into the laboratory industry.
Take a new technician, trained or untrained, and put him through the PTC exercises on naming and drawing posterior anatomy of the five key posterior teeth. Have him go through these exercises three times in a row, watching the SPA DVD and using the Ness Teeth™. On the third time through have him do both exercises without the help of the SPA DVD or the SPA manual.
Now you will be able to tell how skilled his hand-eye coordination is, and also his basic ability to duplicate new material. You will find that after doing this he will either be enthused or unenthused. At this point, you will be able to decide his or her long term value. This is not an absolute test, but is a good indicator of how he or she will fit into your team.
