I really appreciated the focus that PTC puts on words and communication. They help to establish a universal languate to minimize misunderstandings in a lab setting.
The stress on fundamentals, stable references, and precisely defined objectives takes the guesswork out of a full contour crown and has the technician focusing on the immediate goals of the case rather than going through the motions of a general crown from memory.”

The precision of knowledge delivery and understanding (concepts) was heavily emphasized, simplifying a seemingly daunting task into manageable objectives.
I’ve yet to experience an instruction method that works as efficiently for all learning types.”

I thoroughly enjoyed the denture course here at PTC. I was surprised at how little I knew/know about dental anatomy. I have been working in the dental field for 7 eyars and knew nothing about identifying teeth. Not only will this course help me in constructing dentures, but also in my orthodontic appliances.
I came to this course thinking I was going to learn how to make dentures. I learned so much more than that I now know how important fundamentals are in what I do. I only wish that I had this information years ago. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.”

This course gave me the insight into what I thought I knew but didn’t.
I really liked the information on the Science of Porcelain (Advanced Layering) and proper consistency. I think it is one of the most under emphasized skill to being a good ceramist.
I felt I received an 8 year on the job education in 4 days.
The right amount of balance between: discussion, theory, procedures, drills, process management, editorial, and hands on.
A great team atmosphere with a whole lot of concern for everyone’s development and future success.”

Words can not say enough, it is such a joy each time I have a course with Jim and the PTC Team. Following each step by the protocol makes a huge difference on the way my product looked and how I felt about my finished product.
And of course, I have always felt Jim’s word to be inspiring to me not only with PTC but in my everyday life, with managing, and with my decision to go back to school. I can not thank you both enough!!!”

I enjoyed every part of the seminar – the interacting, the information, “hands-on” – it’s all very motivating, and I feel I got a lot of knowledge from the instructor-to-student interaction.
PTC has been the best learning tool in my experience as a dental tech. I feel as if the light has been just turned on.”

Now I have a way to show and answer my technicians’ questions. The hands on course is something I would recommend to anybody who doesn’t understand the anteriors. It takes the guess work out. Now I understand why I’m doing what it is I’m doing.
Jim is a great speaker and he answered everything in a way that everyone gets the idea.”

I have not only learned technical procedures and terms, rather I learned fundamentals that can be applied in our daily life. It is all coming from heart to heart, wiith continuous passion for truth and reality and facts.
It is rare and seldom in a lifetime to get the opportunity of meeting such people as willing and wanting to give or to pass on the reality for others. Just like an eye opener that makes you look into things from a wide macroscopic view.
This experience of PTC made me accept dental technology again for a career, where I had made my mind up earlier to finish it, until I got involved with PTC.”

This waxing course is different than others because it teaches you how to recognize your objective, then gives you the tools to reach that objective.
Jim and Tina are great instructors and have the patience of Job. Their willingness to work through the steps with you insures you won’t be left behind.
Not only have I learned how to wax full cast and frameworks, I have also gained confidence in the vocabulary that we work with everyday.”
